Why and where it all started from
Background
Thirty seven years ago we were looking to buy our first house in Ceres, to no avail, when my late father-in-law (joiner, with lifetime experience) suggested the cheapest option was to build from scratch, under his supervision. Two and a half years later we moved into our traditional, newly built house in Ceres. Since then I have worked in the building trade covering all trades as required, extending our properties, helping family, neighbours and friends, whilst serving thirty four years in the fire service. Three years before retiring from the service and during a discussion with one of my brothers about what I should do in retirement, he said, "do what you have always done but do it as a business". Six years of business later, I am looking forward to many more!
